Alice H. Miller
Alice H. Miller, 95, of Syracuse, passed away on January 18, 2020 at Lake City Place in Warsaw. She was born on January 20, 1924 in Fort Wayne to Fred & Velma (Henning) Witte. On October 31, 1942 she married Charles “Bud” Miller who preceded her in 2005. She retired from the Wawasee School Corporation. She was a lifetime member of the Wolf Lake VFW, the Syracuse American Legion, and the Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by her 2 daughters – Susan (Stewart) Kraft of Syracuse and Debra Miller (Craig Gaal) of Manchester, MI. 1 son – Chuck (Lisa) Miller of Syracuse. 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-greatgrandchildren. 2 sisters in law – Marilyn Hodgson, and Carol Witte. Along with her husband, she was also preceded by her son Terry, 1 brother and 6 sisters. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Thursday, January 23 at 11 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Diemer officiating. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Shriners, The Syracuse Food Pantry, or Grace Lutheran Church.
