Amanda “Mandi” Wells

Mrs. Amanda Weigandt Wells, 31, passed away on Saturday, October 29, surrounded by her family at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois due to complications incurred during the birth of her daughter, Abigail Juliana (AJ). Mandi was born on February 7, 1980 in St. Marys, Ohio. She married Leighton Wells on September 15, 2007 in Syracuse, IN. She is survived by her parents Richard and Juliana Weigandt of Minster, Ohio, her brother, Todd Weigandt and wife Julianne of Minster, Ohio, her sister, Dee Dee Bender and husband, Stan of Troy, Ohio, her twin sister, Abi Bardasian and husband Doug of St. Louis, Missouri, her mother and father-in-law, Jeff and Cindy Wells of Syracuse, Indiana, her sister-in-law Cassandra Wells of Chicago, Illinois and grandparents Ralph Larger of Minster, Ohio and Bill and Barbara Beemer, Leighton’s grandparents.

Mandi loved spending her free time with her nieces and nephews, Madyson, Savannah, Ireland, Shania, Stone, Tag, Guy, Star, Lawson and Mayer. Mandi also loved the time she spent walking her boxer, Casey. Mandi was an avid water-skier and thoroughly enjoyed spending her weekends with her family at Lake Wawasee in Syracuse, Indiana.

Mandi was a graduate of Minster High School in 1998, and graduated from Miami University in 2002 with a bachelors degree in Marketing. She was a member of Gamma Phi Beta sorority. Mandi was a medical representative with Genentech in Chicago, Illinois where she was a member of the President’s Club.

Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster, Ohio on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 2 to 8:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM at St. Augustine Catholic church in Minster, Ohio on Friday, Nov. 4th.

Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse, Indiana will hold viewing services on Saturday, Nov. 5th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Nov.6th at Eastlund Funeral Home at 11:00 followed by burial service at Syracuse cemetery.
