Barbara Hamman

November 13th

At 12 o’clock noon on November 12, 2014, Barbara Hamman, 61, went to be with God and her parents in heaven. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Warsaw, IN to Robert & Esther (Davis) English. She spent most of this summer in Lutheran Hospital with congestive heart failure. Finally she went home to rest and enjoy the fall weather from inside looking at the beautiful view from their lovely home with Jeff, and many of her dear friends and family who visited often. All of her friends and family were there to celebrate her 62nd birthday early. We sang “You are my Sunshine” to her as she came into the room and later “Happy Birthday” as we gathered around her. She has always been a sweet, innocent, child of God with a loving heart and pure soul. She was and always will be our “Sunshine”, and we will love her and remember her sweet smile forever. We miss you Barbie. She was a 1971 Pierceton High School graduate, and received her Degree in Deaf Education from Ball State University. She is survived by her husband – Jeff Hamman Sr. of Leesburg. Son – Jeff Hamman Jr. of Leesburg. 3 Sisters – Anita (Jeff) Land of Indianapolis, Janet (Carl) English-Young of Corvallis, OR, and Carol (Gary) Robbins of Pierceton. 1 brother – David (Chris) English of Pierceton. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Myron Drent officiating. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest cemetery in Pierceton. Memorial contributions may be made to: Kosciusko County Home Health Care and Hospice.
