Beth Harris Pifer Monroe
Beth Elaine Pifer Monroe,70, of Nort Webster, Indiana, passed away late Saturday in her home of 32 years, where her loving husband and best friend also passed 6 years prior.
Beth was born in Warsaw, IN to Maurice & Maxine (Pifer) Harris. Beth attended Wawasee High School where she was a “pom-pom” girl (cheerleader) and loved twirling her baton. The day after graduation she went to live in Phoenix, AZ with her sister, Teri. She later met her husband, Rick Monroe, while living in Florida. Together they moved to New Mexico and then Longview TX for a time; eventually finding herself back in North Webster where they raised their daughter, Amy.
Beth was both kind and genuine. She was loved by anyone who crossed her path and always knew the circumstances of their life, because she truly cared. She had an infectious personality with a most contagious laugh that lit up any room she entered. Beth was the life of the party and was never afraid to speak her mind.
Beth found joy in sewing and made many things for her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In her spare time you could also find Beth enjoying her garden, blueberry picking in the summer, antiquing, doing puzzles, and all of that she would do with her sister(s), daughter and/or a grandchild by her side. Beth loved and cherished her family with her whole being and her loss will be felt for all the years to come.
Beth is survived by her daughter – Amy (Will Maule) Jones. 3 grandchildren – Natalie (Brock) Spangle, Kobe (Shantelee Etchason) Jones, and Maverick Maule. 2 great-grandchildren – Theodore & Elijah Spangle. 2 sisters – Teresa Hainge, and Melanie (James) Geiter, Who will never forget the love she gave them or the memories she left behind. She was preceded by her husband and parents.
A memorial service will be held at her home on January 11th from 3 PM – 7 PM located at 667 Center Street West North Webster, IN 46555. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastlund Funeral Home to assist with final expenses. https://venmo.com/u/AmyRen-Jones
