Bill Hyden, 68, of South Whitley, Indiana passed away on April 22, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Born in Van Lear, KY on April 14, 1958, Bill grew up in Warsaw and graduated Warsaw Community High School class of 1976. Bill was a dedicated employee at Dalton Foundry for 44 years. He also served as a Union Steward. Bill was an avid fan of Sprint Cars, Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Hoosiers, and Indianapolis Colts. On May 24, 2003, he married the love of his life, Lidia.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Lidia Hyden; his sisters, Patty (Dan) Clifton, Christine (Johnie) Spears, and Charlotte Smith. His sons, Bill Hyden Jr., Cole (Ashlie) Hyden, and Samuel (Jill Baker) Hyden; along with two daughters Andrea (Christopher Scholar) Childress and Kathy (Ricky Johnson) Howard. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Katherine, his brothers Roger, Larry, Tony, and Glenn. His sisters Sharon and Tina.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 12 Noon at the Eastlund Funeral Home.  Calling will be 2 hours prior to the service from 10 – noon.
