Carl Petno Jr
Carl J. Petno Jr, 83, of Syracuse, IN passed away on December 31, 2018 at Millers Merry Manor. He was born on August 7, 1935 in Uniontown, PA to Carl & Florence (Berardi) Petno Sr.
On March 31, 1989 he married Pamela Ellison who survives. He retired from the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after 27 years. He then retired from the civilian sector with GTE in 1996.
Carl is survived by his wife Pamela Petno of Syracuse. 2 sons – Stephen (Kristine) Petno of St. Charles, IL and Douglas (Lisa) Petno of New Canaan, CT. 1 daughter – Elizabeth Smith of Columbus, IN.
1 step-daughter – Tracy Bolles of Longwood, FL. 1 step-son – Christopher (Melissa) Bolles of Fishers, IN. 12 grandchildren. 1 brother – Vince (Lee) Petno of Stowe, OH. Visitation will be held on
Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery with Military honors.
