Carol Lynn Stahley

Born July 6, 1946 – Died January 14, 2025

Carol Lynn Stahley, of Syracuse, Indiana passed away peacefully at Goshen Hospital after a long battle with dementia and related issues.

She was born July 6 of 1946 to Donald and Dorothy Rumbles in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Goshen High School and got her 2 yr secretary degree after at Lansing Business College. She was a dedicated office manager/secretary at several local businesses from Commodore to Syracuse Rubber but retired from Rookstool Piers.

Carol was baptized later on in life at Clunette’s United Methodist Church under Pastor Mike Beezley.  She enjoyed travel, time on the lakes and in the sun and playing table games like skip-bo, left-right-center and penny poker.

She was a loving wife-married 51 years on August 11, 1973, mother, sister and friend. She is survived by husband, Ralph of Syracuse– son Dustin of Bluffton (Renee, son-Logan) and two brothers: Wayne Rumbles of Laguna Beach, CA and Gary (Susan) Rumbles of Green Valley,  Arizona.

Funeral services and remembrance will be held at Eastlund’s Funeral Home in Syracuse from 3-5 pm on January 25^th 2025 with Pastor Mike Beezley officiating. Burial will conducted at the Syracuse cemetery on the family plot at a later date in the spring.
