Charles Lantz
Charles “Charlie” Lantz, 88, of Syracuse, IN passed away on December 23, 2017 at Doctors Hospital in Bremen, IN. He was born on May 5, 1929 in Elkhart County to Wilbur Homer & Dolla (Long) Lantz. On December 3, 1949 he married Rosemary Hummell who preceded him in 2016. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was employed by Liberty Homes, as well as Commodore Homes where he retired. He is survived by his brother – Robert Lantz of Syracuse. His granddaughter – Jamie (Ben) Parish of Howe. 2 step-granddaughters – Chastity Brickey of Syracuse and Christina (Shane) Barhydt of Ligonier. 5 greatgrand, and 2 great-greatgrandchildren. 1 nephew – Michael (Ausra) Lantz of Port St Lucie, FL. he was preceded by his wife, 2 sons Tim & Greg, and 1 brother and 2 sisters. Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 2 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Calling will be 2 hours prior to the service from noon until 2. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
