Doris J. Amstutz
Doris J. Amstutz, 93, of Leesburg, passed away on December 2, 2020 at Grace Village Retirement Community. She was born on September 22, 1927 in Goshen, IN to Ray & Eloise (Niccum) Frevert. She was married to James O. Amstutz who preceded her in 1984. Along with her husband, she managed several McDonalds franchise’s. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Oswego. She attended Ball State and studied as an Art Major, and was a Drum Majorette. Her family owned and operated the Wawasee Lumber Yard. Doris is survived by her 4 sons – Don (Kathy) LeCount of Leesburg, Richard (Michelle Polston) LeCount of Cromwell, Glen (Jamie) LeCount of Iowa, and Charles (Marilyn) LeCount of Alabama. 16 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. brother – John Frevert, 1 sister – Cynthia Fry. Along with her husband, she was preceded by 1 sister. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11 AM at the MRE Cemetery in Berne, IN. Eastlund Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
