Eileen Coplin
Eileen Coplin, 86, of Avilla, IN, formerly of Cromwell, IN passed away on April 30, 2012 at the Provena Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Avilla. She was born on June 13, 1925 in Montpelier, OH to Harry & Leola (Johnston) Pike. On October 18, 1945 in Detroit, MI she married Carl E. Coplin who preceded her in 1997. She retired from Monsanto in Ligonier, IN in 1988. She was a member of the North Webster Church of God where she participated in JOY, a senior group at the church. She is survived by her 3 daughters – Margaret (Rex) Beck of Merriam, IN, Betty (John) Bryant of Fort Wayne, & Nancy (Larry) Emerick of Kendallville. 3 sons – Harry (Sylvia) Coplin of Cromwell, Alan (Gloria) Coplin of South Bend, & Jeffrey (Jean) Coplin of Kendallville. 17 grandchildren, 36 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded by 1 daughter Sherry Coplin, 1 granddaughter Brandy Coplin, 1 brother Howard Pike and her husband. Calling will be Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home.
