Eugene L. “Gene” Druckamiller
Eugene L. “Gene” Druckamiller, 86, of Syracuse passed away on January 18, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born on November 17, 1929 in Syracuse, IN to Leo & Alma (Heide) Druckamiller. On July 7, 1962 he married Laurabelle Skelton who survives. He was a Korean War era US Army veteran. He retired from Liberty Homes after 52 years of service. He was a member of the Syracuse Church of God as well as the Syracuse American Legion. He is survived by his wife – Laurabelle Druckamiller of Syracuse. 1 son – Larry (Donna) Druckamiller of Warsaw. 1 stepson – Michael (Patty) Clark of Tampa, FL. 5 grandchildren, 2 greatgrandchildren. 1 brother – Arden (Fran) Druckamiller of Indianapolis. 1 sister – Delores Hepler of Milford. He was preceded by 1 brother. Visitation will be Friday, January 22, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown cemetery in Millersburg.
