Evelyn Groves
Evelyn Groves, 90, of Goshen, passed away on January 29, 2025 at The Restoracy of Goshen. She was born on December 4, 1934 in Pricedale, PA to Albert & Catherine (Vukovich) Stricklin. She worked for Sun Metal in Warsaw as a machine operator, and retired from Deco in North Webster. She was a 1953 graduate of Greensburg High School. She was a previous member of the Moose Lodge, as well as the American Legion in North Webster. She is survived by her daughter – Deborah (Mike) Smith. Son – Robert Smith. Stepdaughter – Heidi Groves. Stepson Andy Groves. Granddaughter – Samantha Smith. Greatgrandchildren – Alexus, Jordan, Deven, and Terrance. Great-greatgrandchildren – Zander, Elie, and Sawyer. Brother – Robert (Judy) Stricklin. She was preceded by a granddaughter – Crystal, sister – Elizabeth, 2 brothers – Albert & Ronald. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from noon until 2 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. A Memorial service will commence at 2 PM. Burial will take place at the North Webster Cemetery Mock Addition. Memorial contributions may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
