Galen Haney
Galen Haney, 93, of North Webster, passed away on January 28, 2026 at Grace Village Retirement Community. He was born on October 18, 1932 in Milford, IN to Kenneth & Goldie (Oster) Haney. On July 12, 1959 he married Mary Ellen Hawley who preceded him in 2021. He retired in sales after 30 years at Hahn Systems. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a longtime member of the North Webster Community Church, North Webster Kiwani’s, and Gideons International. Galen is survived by his daughter – Lynn (David) Musselman of Fort Wayne. 2 sons – Lyle Haney of North Webster, and Lee (Amy) Haney of Mainesville, OH. 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Along with his wife Mary Ellen, he was preceded by a sister – Betty Cotton, and a brother – Larry Haney. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 4-7 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11 AM at the North Webster Community Church with Pastor Jeff Boyer officiating. There will be 1 hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the Leesburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to World Missionary Press or Gideons International.
