Glenace L. Kerfin
Glenace L. Kerfin, 97 of The Maples, Goshen, passed away January 31, 2010 at 3:07 PM at Goshen General Hospital. She was born November 21, 1912 in Rockford, Ohio to Jesse & Carrie (Bury) Spry. On September 7, 1931 in Salina, Ohio she married William Joseph Kerfin who preceded her in death in 1983. Glenace moved to the Syracuse area in 1959 coming from Chicago. She was a member of St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church in Syracuse. She was also a member of the St. Martins Women’s Sodality, as well as the Senior Mothers Club of Syracuse. Glenace is survived by two daughters – Mrs. Everardo (Billie) Ganz of Syracuse, Mrs. Bill (Dianne) Roberts of Goshen. 6 Grandchildren, Wendy Beyeler of Goshen, Carrie (Keith) Traver of Indianapolis, Kimberly (Steve) Frauhiger of Goshen, Dale (Benji) Ganz of Syracuse, David (kelly) Ganz of Syracuse, James (Linda) Rooberts of Goshen.13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, parents & 1 brother and 2 sisters.
A mass will take place Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the St. Martin dePorres Catholic Church. Calling will be 1 hour prior to the mass at the church. Burial will be at the Syracuse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association.
