Jan Appenzeller
Jan Appenzeller, 71, passed away on July 4, 2015 at his home. He was born on September 14, 1943 in Fort Wayne, IN to Harry H. & Betty (Harkless) Appenzeller. On August 18, 1985 he married Patricia Gawthrop who survives. Jan attended Purdue University and was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was co-owner of Appenzeller Brothers Auto Restoration. He had a passion for classic cars, wood boats. He is survived by his wife Patricia Appenzeller of Syracuse. 2 daughters – Sarah (Arnie Miller) Appenzeller-Lancaster of Leesburg, and Rebecca Fraisher of Arizona. 2 sisters – Diane (Eduardo) Vivanco of California, Margaret Appenzeller of Syracuse. 2 brothers – Patrick (Janis) Appenzeller of Goshen, Bill (Tammy) Appenzeller of Milford. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11 AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Syracuse with Father Larry Biller officiating. A gathering will immediately follow at the Appenzeller residence at 11739 N. State Rd. 13 in Syracuse.
