Jerry C. Lowe, 90 of Bonita Springs, FL and Syracuse, IN went to Heaven April 12, 2022. He had multiple health problems he could not recover from.

He was born July 23, 1931 to Mildred Delano and George B. Lowe in Pierceton, IN.

Jerry graduated from Syracuse High School in 1949. He was a proud veteran of U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. When he returned home he married Serita Kay Wertenberger of Warsaw, IN. They had 3 children, George Lowe (deceased), Mary Lowe-Aker of Knoxville TN, and Linda (Steve) Lowe-Yoder of Syracuse, IN; daughter-in-law, Sue; grandchildren, Lauren (Ryan) Benker, Jamie Aker, Kaitlyn Lowe, Aaron (Megan) Yoder, Alicia and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Samson Aker, Julian Benker, Issac, Ellie and Ayla.

Jerry retired from the Postal Service in Syracuse, IN. He was a Member of the Shiners of Cromwell for 50 years, American Legion and served as 2nd District Commander, 40/8, Masonic Lodge. He also attended Pierceton Baptist Church for many years as a young boy. He always believed in a higher power and was baptized 2 times; one time in front of his home in Lake Wawasee.

He loved to fish, bowl and go to the casino with Kay, his wife of 66 years.

Military Service is being planned for July 23, 2022 at McClintic Cemetery at 11 AM on old Rd. 8, also known as Hatchery Rd. in Syracuse IN.
