Jessie G. Wainscott
Jessie G. Wainscott, 89, of North Webster passed a way February 20, 2010 at Millers Merry Manor in Syracuse. She was born August 12, 1920 in Logansport, IN to Merle & Hazel (Gaff) Herron. On March 12, 1942 she married Robert Wainscott who preceded her in death on February 5, 2010. Jessie was a North Webster resident for over 30 years coming from Russiaville. She was a homemaker, who had a passion for sewing. She belonged to both the North Webster and Russiaville United Methodist Chruches. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #253 Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her 2 sons – Robert N. Wainscott of Kokomo, William J. (Rita) Wainscott Sr. of Russiaville. 4 Grandchildren – Annette (Andy) Poffenberger, Brian Wainscott, Diane Polanco, William J. (Katie) Wainscott Jr. and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation time will be Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 4-7 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home in Syracuse. There will also be a visitation at the Stout Funeral Home in Russiaville on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 4-8 PM. There will be a private family interment Thursday, February 25, 2010 in Sunset Memory Gardens, Kokomo. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 253.
