Joanne K. Border-Loper, 69, of Cromwell, IN passed away on August 13, 2011 at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born on March 8, 1942 in Burlington, WI to Darrell & Flora (Amend) Border. Joanne lived in the area since 1983, having previously lived in the Rochester area. She retired from Laketronics in Cromwell. She was a Ladies Auxiliary member of the VFW, American Legion & Eagles lodges, all of Syracuse. She is survived by her husband – Richard “Dick” Loper of Cromwell. 1 daughter – Melissa (Mike Steffen) Covington of Warsaw. 4 stepdaughters – Samantha (John) Shock of North Webster, Shari (Darrell) Carr of Warsaw, Zoa Zentz of Florida & Debbie Manny of Colorado. 1 son – Tom Manny of Michigan City. 11 grand & 12 greatgrandchildren. 1 sister – Karen (Raymond) Turner of Rochester. 3 brothers – Bill Border of Alabama, DeWayne (Cindy) Border of Rochester, & David (Deborah) Border of Rochester.
