John McMahan
John McMahan, 67, of Syracuse, passed away on March 18, 2023 at home. He was born on February 23, 1956 in East Chicago, IN to Robert & Marlene (Rumbut) McMahan. He was a carpenter, worked in construction, and was head of maintenance for a large gym. He is survived by 1 daughter – Amy Marshall. 3 stepsons – Chuck Frank, Joe Frank, and Mike Frank. 1 step daughter – Judy Schimanski. 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. 4 sisters – Gayle Vuletic, Karen Newman, Heather Guerra, and Ruth Bilbro. 3 brothers – Michael McMahan, Kevin McMahan, and James McMahan. He is also survived by his longtime companion Charlotte Hill. He was preceded by his sister Kriss Jaskutis. A Celebration of John’s life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Lincoln Center Room 113 in Highland, IN. The address is 24520 Lincoln St. Highland, IN 46322.
