Kaciaryna Puntus
Kaciaryna Puntus, 85, of Syracuse, IN passed away at her home on August 11, 2016. She was born on August 19, 1930 in Belarus to Staipon & Anna Feshchenko. On June 13, 1949 she married Wasil Puntus who preceded her in 1989. She moved to the Syracuse area in 1982 coming from Chicago. She worked for 14 years at the Syracuse McDonalds retiring at age 72. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Goshen. She is survived by her 2 daughters – Jeannie Decker and Mary Poyer both of Elgin, IL. 2 sons – Victor Puntus of Chicago and Alex Puntus of Syracuse. 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. 1 nephew – Wally Feshchenko of Syracuse. She was also preceded by her brother Victor Feshchenko. Visitation will be Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Reverend Silouan Rolando will officiate. Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
