Kathryn Knisley
Kathryn Knisley, 83, of Syracuse, passed away on July 8, 2017 at Goshen Hospital. She was born on December 15, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Herman & Ruth (Sloan) Huey. On April 13, 1952 she married Kenneth R. Knisley who survives. She was a lifetime & Emirita member of Lakeland Woman’s Bowling Association. She had been employed by General Telephone, Wawasee Bowl, Thornburg Drugs, First Federal of Wabash, and Pamida. She is survived by her husband Kenneth R. Knisley of Syracuse. 3 sons – Kevin Knisley of Bristol, Dana (Gloria) Knisley of Syracuse, and Brian (Sarah) Knisley of Syracuse. 9 grandchildren. 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 greagreat -grandchild. 1 sister – Wanda (William) Patrick of Mississippi. She was preceded by her daughter Dixie, 3 brothers and 1 sister. Services will be Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 4PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Calling will be 2 hours prior from 2-4. Memorial contributions may be made to the Goshen Hospice or the Dollars for Scholars.
