K. Dale Brannock
K. Dale Brannock, 73, of Syracuse, IN & Bradenton, FL passed away on September 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born on March 6, 1938 in Galax, VA to Wayne & Geneve (Hawks) Brannock. He was married to Sherry Beasley who survives him. Dale moved to the Syracuse area in 1968 coming from Muncie. He retired from teaching in 1997 after 33 years. He was a member of the Oneco United Methodist Church in Bradenton, FL. He was also a member of the Indiana State Teachers Association. He is survived by his wife – Sherry Brannock of Syracuse & Bradenton. 3 sons – Mike (Mary Jane) Brannock of Syracuse, Rick Brannock of Bradenton, FL & Brian (Jill) Brannock of Marysville, WA. 11 grandchildren & 4 greatgrandchildren. 1 sister – Mrs. Charlie (Jean) Walling of Thomson, GA. He was preceded by his first wife Sandra, 1 brother Bob Brannock, & his parents. Visitation will be Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 3-7 pm at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Burial will be at Syracuse Cemetery.
