Monica May “Monk” Jernigan
Monica May “Monk” Jernigan, 49, of Syracuse, IN passed away on June 5, 2011 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1961 in Columbia City to E. Wayne & Diana (Leap) Jernigan. She resided in Plymouth for 20 years prior to moving to the Syracuse area, where she has lived the past two years. She is survived by her father – E. Wayne Jernigan of North Webster. 2 sisters – Mrs. Jeff (Stephanie) Surfus of Dexter, MI & Mrs. Don (Joseanne) Nyce of Syracuse. Her grandmother – Virgie Jernigan of North Webster. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded by her mother in 1991. There will be a graveside service officiated by Pastor Vince Wilczynski at the North Webster Cemetery – Mock addition on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 5:00 PM.
