Nancy Bell
Nancy Bell, of Syracuse, Indiana, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on April 2, 2026. She is now at rest in Heaven.
Nancy was born December 3, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles and Marilyn Taylor. She graduated from Wawasee High School, Class of 1976. On October 21, 1978, she married Rod Bell, who survives.
Also surviving are her son, Kevin (Kristin) Bell of Warren, Indiana; and her brothers, David Taylor and Paul Taylor. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved daughter, Carrie Bell of Syracuse, Indiana.
A private graveside service will be held on May 2, 2026, for the burial of Nancy’s and Carrie’s ashes. Immediately following, friends are welcome and encouraged to attend a public Celebration of Life at the Syracuse Community Center from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Nancy courageously fought a lifelong battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis, yet she kept a positive outlook and brought happiness to all who knew her. She truly was a wonderful soul.
Nancy had a zest for life and found joy in the simple, meaningful moments. She loved sewing baby items as gifts, and it gave her great happiness when others appreciated her work. A talented seamstress and wonderful baker, Nancy delighted in sharing her delicious treats with family and friends. A lifelong homemaker, she especially enjoyed visiting with friends and spending time with those she loved.
