Nancy Corbin
Nancy J. Corbin, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 2, 2025 surrounded by her family.
Nancy was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on January 21, 1943 to Richard L. and Dorothy M. (Enterline) Snoke.
Nancy graduated from North Side High School in 1961. She was employed at the Borden Company and also at Indiana-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. Nancy was a candy striper at Parkview Hospital and after she married Walter, she became a stay at home mom. Later Nancy worked alongside Walter, her husband, in his C.P.A. accounting firm as a receptionist for 35 years. She was a member of the North Webster Church of God. Nancy was a bible study leader for many years. She knew that she had the promise of Eternal life in heaven some day with her Lord.
In January 1968, Nancy married Walter C. Corbin who survives. Walt and Nancy were married 57 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children Paula S. (Robert) Jewson of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Ann M. (Matthew) Goebel of Winona Lake, Indiana. Her memory will also be cherished by five grandchildren, Nicholas S. (Amber) Jewson of Delaware, Ohio. Jacob R. (Corynne) Jewson of Wagoner, Oklahoma. Twins, Benjamin G. Goebel and Allison J. Goebel and Caleb T. Goebel of Winona Lake, Indiana, all who will survive with broken hearts.
Nancy Corbin has left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate life without her presence. Stillwater Hospice cared lovingly for her in her final days.
Eastlund Funeral Home of Syracuse, 7458 E 1000 N is entrusted with the care of Nancy and the Corbin family. Visitation will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Eastlund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be May 9, 2025 at the North Webster Church of God at 11:00 with calling one hour prior to the service. Pastor Jeff Boyer will be officiating the service.
