Patricia Shriver
Patricia Shriver, 86, of Syracuse, passed away on August 15, 2024 at The Waters of Syracuse. She was born on June 4, 1938 in Roanoke, VA to Zera & Eva (Wade) Hatcher. She retired from Instrumed in 2002. She bought fine estate jewelry as well as antiques, and sold them at antique markets. She is survived by her daughter – Susan Hire. Step daughter – Dena (David) Canmann. Stepson Jeff (Ginger) Shriver. 10 grandchildren – Ben Hire, Lynn (Jesse) Baker, Meredith Canmann, David (Camilla) Canmann, Natalie Canmann, Catherine Canmann, Madeline Canmann, Andrew(Erin) Shriver, Kegan (Ally) Shriver, Kirsten Shriver, and Heather (Nate) Everingham. Several greatgrandchildren. 1 sister – Mary Ellen Beeler. She was preceded by her husband Harry Shriver, as well as 2 sisters Betty and Juanita. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10-Noon at the Eastlund Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow Friday at 2:30 at the Akron Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice of Fort Wayne.
