Roger Fetters
Roger Fetters, 90, of Syracuse, passed away on September 20, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 10, 1935 in Wolf Lake, IN to Floyd & Zoe Fetters. On February 14, 1959 he married Darlene Lung who survives. Roger served as a paratrooper for 4 years in the US Army. He retired from Weatherhead/DANA after 47 years of service. He served as an Officer of the Pioneer Club, and President of the Local UAW Union. He was named Veteran of the Month of Kosciusko County in 2016. He was selected to be on The Honor Flight with Guardian Ashley James in 2018. Along with his wife of 66 years, Darlene Fetters, Roger leaves behind special friends Adam, Ashley, Lulie, and Olsen James. He was preceded by his parents, children Roger Jr. “Pete” in 2011, Bill Allen in 2000, and Jo Ellen in 1960. Services for Roger will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 12 Noon at Eastlund Funeral Home. Calling will be 2 hours prior to the service from 10 til noon.
