Sophia Everett
Sophia Everett, 96, of Syracuse passed away on May 3, 2019 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born on December 14, 1922 in Snowflake, VA to Charlie & Lilly (Nash) Strong. A Syracuse resident, Sophia also lived in the Kimmell area for several years having also lived in Muncie. She is lovingly survived by her 4 daughters – Anna Engel of Bryan, OH, Sandra (Joe) Badillo of Fredericksburg, VA, Pat Cooper of St. Petersburg, FL and Kim (Jerry) Hyde of Syracuse. 1 son – Gene (Ann) Nash of Bluefield, WV. 16 grandchildren, and many great & greatgreat grandchildren. 3 sisters – Peggy Hileman of St. Paul, VA, Juanita Culler of Princeton, VA, and Dola Meade. She was preceded by 1 son, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters. Visitation will be Tueasday, May 7, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
