Terry Jodry, 75, passed away on November 2, 2025 at home with hius family. He was born on September 7, 1950, in Toledo, OH to exited parents Clifford & Thelma (Nofzinger) Jodry. Terry joined older sister Sharon and completed the Jodry family.

Terry grew up on a large farm in Bryan, Ohio where he learned the value of hard work and discipline. In between farm chores, he excelled in track and was very active in Boy Scouts where he earned the prestigious Eagle Scout Award. Terry graduated from Bryan High School in the class of 1969. On December 8, 1972, he married his beloved Sue Wilcox who survives. In 1974, they moved from the Defiance area to Indiana, eventually settling and raising their family at Dewart Lake. There Terry enjoyed hosting summer BBQs and spending time with his family sailboating and giving pontoon rides. He was also quite competitive playing yard darts and badminton. He was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church in Syracuse.

Terry was a hard worker and dedicated to providing for his family. He retired from Newnam Foundry in Kendallville. After a much earned retirement, Terry enjoyed gardening and entering chili contests at his apartment complex where he won three times in a row. He also enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his wife. Terry took pride in displaying elaborate outdoor decorations for each holiday. These activities did not keep him busy enough, so he worked part time at Menards, which he truly loved. Terry was an avid Notre Dame football fan and an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed watching old westerns and sci-fi shows.

Terry is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sue Jodry of Leesburg; two daughters, Holly (Todd) Sautter of Leesburg and Amy (Ben) Coalson of Angola; five grandchildren, Michael Sautter, Shawna Sautter, Garrett Sautter, Coleton (Darrian) Coalson, and Kyle (Cortney) Coalson; two great-grandchildren, Aurora and Quinn; and one sister, Sharon Reed of Kentucky.

Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2 PM at Eastlund Funeral Home.  Calling will be 2 hours prior, from noon until 2.  Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
