Thelma Black

Thelma Black, 98, a lifelong Cromwell area resident passed away February 10, 2011 at Lakeland Rehab & Health Care in Milford. She was born at Indian Village on August 8, 1912. Thelma was a Cromwell High School graduate. She was a homemaker, and farm helper most of her married life. She was a long time member of the Wilmot Salem Community Church. She is survived by 2 Sons – Gale (Nancy) Black of Rural Cromwell and Glen Black of Shoe Lake. A daughter in law Janice Black of Warsaw. 4 Grandchildren – Amy Badskey of Avilla, Christine Flaugh of Syracuse, Lorie Howe of Cromwell and Michael Black of Lafayette. 7 Greatgrandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren and several step greatgrandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Ralph Black, her parents, 2 brothers, 1 sister and her son Gary Black. Calling for Thelma will be Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 2-6 PM at the funeral home. Services will be Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11 AM at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor David Biberstein officiating. Burial will follow at the Indian Village cemetery.
