Thomas M. Corbat
Thomas M. Corbat, 68, of Syracuse, IN passed away on November 26, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne. He was born on November 17, 1945 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Merl & Sophie (Janzikiski) Corbat. On June 4, 1998 he married Lorree Snyder who survives. He was a US Army Veteran and a past commander of American Legion Post 223 in Syracuse. He retired in 2011 as an engineer from Midwest Pipe and Steel in Fort Wayne, IN. He is survived by his wife – Lorree Corbat of Syracuse. 4 daughters – Becky Pfeiffer of Ft. Wayne, Lisa Nichols of Florida, Nichole Schaekel of Columbia City and Melissa Fraze of Anchorage, Alaska. 2 stepsons – Jason Mench of Marion, IN, and Jeremiah Mench of Syracuse. 1 brother – Jim Corbat of Ft. Wayne. 11 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 2-6 pm at the Eastlund Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, December 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Arcola, IN. with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Post 223.
