Waldo H. Bostel, 82, of Barbee Lake, formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Lakeland Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Milford.  He was born on December 12, 1929 in Huntington, IN to William & Dorothy (Meier) Bostel.  On December 22, 1950 he married Ruth Tinkle who preceded him in 2010.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He retired as a machinist from DePuy.  He loved fishing.  He was a member of the North Webster United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his 2 daughters – Carol (Rex) Werstler of Leesburg, IN & Priscilla (Thames) Goon of Warsaw.  1 son – Richard (Shelly) Fields of Plainfield, IN.  1 brother, Heinz Bostel of Huntington, IN.  8 grandchildren & 12 greatgrandchildren.  He was preceded by his wife, parents, 2 brothers, and 1 grandson.  Services will be Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher officiating.  There will be calling 2 hours prior to the service from noon until 2:00 PM.  Burial will follow at the North Webster Cemetery/Mock Addition.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center   505 W 4th St.   Milford, IN  46542
