William “Ralph” McMahan
William “Ralph” McMahan, 93, of Syracuse passed away on August 4, 2018 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. He was born on May 7, 1925 in Oskaloosa, IA to William & Ruby (Alexander) McMahan. He was a US Army veteran, as well as lifetime member of the American Legion. He retired from US Steel in 1983. He was a longtime area resident having summered on Lake Wawasee very early on. He is survived by his wife – Sherry McMahan of Syracuse as well as his daughter – Natasha McMahan also of Syracuse. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 5 PM at the Eastlund Funeral Home with calling 2 hours prior from 3-5 PM. Burial with military honors will follow at the Union Cemetery located west of the funeral home on 1000 North.
